Brian Vosberg

Brian Vosberg has been a Spiritist speaker and presenter since 2005, having spoken at centers in NJ, NY, and FL, as well as past Spiritist Symposiums. Brian actively advocates living the principles of the doctrine and living a moral life. Professionally, he is a Licensed Professional Civil Engineer working as a Project Administrator overseeing state roadway construction projects in the Tampa/Sarasota area of Florida.

Dan Assisi is an author and an international speaker who has delivered hundreds of talks and conferences on spirituality in over 60 cities on 4 continents. Known for a mix of deep thinking and witty humor, Dan takes a unique approach to spirituality that is steeped in reason to remind audiences everywhere of our spiritual nature. He is a founding member of The Spiritist Institute and of the California Spiritist Association and hosts the Spiritist Conversations podcast. Daniel holds a Doctorate degree in Education and a Masters in Public Administration with a Graduate Certificate in Public Policy.

Eduardo Haddad

Eduardo Haddad has been actively working to disseminate the spiritist movement in California, Florida, Texas as well as Nationally for the past 25 years, having founded Spiritist Centers in California and Texas, serving as Treasurer of the Spiritist Federation of Florida, and currently as the Treasurer of the United States Spiritist Federation. He is currently a worker in the Kardec Spiritist Group of Austin, TX

Gabriel Macedo

Florida

Gabriel Macedo is a member of the Spiritist Center Chico Xavier in Delray Beach, Florida. He is an active participant in the International Spiritist Council Youth Committee, working to promote Spiritism globally. Gabriel is also committed to inspiring individuals of all ages to experience the divine beauty of classical music. A pianist since the age of seven, he has won International Music competitions combining his love for Spiritism and music in his mission to uplift and enrich the lives of others.

Jana Machado

Forida

Jana Machado was born in Blumenau, SC and moved to US in 2002. In 2007 she was introduced to Spiritism by a friend while visiting, for the first time, the Spiritist Society Seeds of Light in Fort Myers where she is a member since then. At this moment Jana is a board member of the Spiritist Society Seeds of Light, and the Spiritist Federation of Florida. Jana is also part of the Children & Youth Committee of the Spiritist Federation of Florida. Jana considers herself to be an “ongoing learner” and apprentice of the Spiritist Body of Knowledge.

João Korngold

New York

João Korngold is one of the founders and directors of the Spiritist Group of New York and the Spiritist Alliance for Books. He began studying Spiritism more than 30 years ago and has been one of the directors of the mediumship meeting at SGNY for the past 20 years. He is also responsible for study groups that focus on the basic books of Spiritism and on the Andre Luiz Collection. He gives talks on Spiritism in Portuguese and in English. Joao Korngold is an Engineer and works as a banker.

Leonardo Haddad

Leonardo Haddad is a Recovery Advocate at Nova Recovery drug and alcohol rehab center. Leo attended Spiritist Youth Education since a young age, and has taken up the role of educator. He primarily worked with teens at Sunrise Spiritist Society in Houston, Texas for 4 years. As a worker in the Spiritist movement, Leo focuses on bringing a new perspective on what it means to be a Christian within Spiritism. Leo holds a degree in psychology and philosophy from the University of California, Irvine.

Lia Gouveia

Lia Gouveia is an active worker of the US Spiritist movement and a board member of the Spiritist Society of North Beach in Maryland since its incorporation in 2009. Currently, she is serving as President of this Society. Professionally, Lia manages Enterprise Applications and holds a Bachelor of Computer Science.

Ligia Carvalho

New Jersey

Ligia Carvalho is the co-founder of the Spiritist Center Divine Light in Newark, NJ, and serves as the Secretary and Coordinator of the Spiritist Education Department and bookstore. She is an active participant in the Spiritist movement in the USA, often serving as a speaker. With over 15 years of experience as a licensed therapist, Ligia has dedicated her career to supporting youth facing behavioral and mental health challenges. She has also worked as a hospice social worker, providing compassionate care to terminally ill patients.

Luiz Lima

Florida

Luiz Lima has begun his journey in Spiritism since 1990. As a serious researcher on the scientific aspect of Spiritism, Luiz has been facilitating the studies of how to bridge science and Spiritism in both languages: Portuguese and English. Mr. Lima is a renowned lecturer in the Spiritist movement and participates in local and national seminars and events all year around. Luiz Lima holds a degree in Electronic Engineering, and he works in the computer network industry.

Marcelo Medeiros

Georgia

Marcelo Medeiros became involved with Spiritism in the 2000s and has been actively contributing to the Spiritist movement in the US since 2012, particularly in the area of media communications. Currently residing in Georgia, Marcelo is an active member of Caritas Spiritist Group and volunteers with Fraternity Without Borders, coordinating the project Fraternity on the Streets in Atlanta, which supports the homeless community in the city.

Marcelo Netto holds a bachelor’s degree in Mechanical engineering. He is currently the Vice-President of the Spiritist Federation of Florida, the President of Leal and FEB Publisher, and the Vice-President of Conscious Living Spiritist Group in Florida.

Marcia Trajano

Tennessee

Marcia Trajano is the president and one of the founders of the Solitude Center for Spiritual Living. She is also one of the co-founders of the Christian Spiritist Community of Atlanta and a former board member of the US Spiritist Federation. She is a Spiritist for more than 25 years and has participated in giving talks and leading study groups in English and Portuguese. With a Master’s Degree in Management of Technology, Marcia currently works in the Healthcare industry.

Peter Hays

New Jersey

Peter Hays is a worker at Spiritist Group Love and Light in Newark, New Jersey. He is also the current Outreach Director of the United States Spiritist Federation (USSF) and an active participant in the Tri-State Spiritist Federation (TSSF). Peter has published several children’s books with his wife, Beti Rozen, through their company Sem Fronteiras Press, and with other publishers in Brazil, Colombia, and the U.S. Having a long background in theatre, he holds an MFA in Dramatic Writing from New York University’s Tisch School of the Arts.

Rebecca DaSilva

Rebecca DaSilva, a undergraduate student at UNC Chapel Hill who has earned her CNA license. Rebecca speaks Portuguese, French, and English fluently. She has been a member of the Allan Kardec Spiritist Society of Maryland’s youth group since 2017. She intends to use spiritist teachings to both her personal and professional lives as an aspiring travel nurse.

Suzana Simoes

Suzana Simoes is an active worker of the Spiritist movement. Dr Simoes spends her time between her professional work as a Doctor of Physical Therapy, her family, and the dissemination of Spiritism. Suzana has worked as a member of the Spiritist Federation of Florida and the United States Spiritist Federation. She is one of the founders of the Conscious Living Spiritist group in Miami where she works primarily overseeing the work in English. She is an active speaker in the US and abroad.

Yuri Castro

Yuri Castro has a doctoral degree in clinical psychology through Nova Southeastern University, is licensed in Florida, and specializes in the treatment of severe and persistent mental illnesses in adolescents and adults. Yuri has been involved in Spiritism since an early age, and started his journey as a speaker in 2012. He is a volunteer worker at the Conscious Living Spiritist Group (CLSG) in North Miami, Florida.
